What We Need
  • Assessment of specific Organizational needs mapped to specific board roles
  • Candidate evaluation guide for prospective board members, including suggested vetting questions and timeline
  • Marketing tools and guidance on how to execute recruitment
  • Note: This project does not include actual board recruitment on the part of the Professional

We are seeking to expand the Board,as well, two directors are rolling off soon and we want quality replacements.

What We Have In Place
  • We currently have 11 of 13 Directors (seeking to expand the size), which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have all governance in place, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help
This project will save us $7,822 , allowing us to spend in on necessary expansion of our programs especially during COVID difficulties for schools.

We have a committed Board, but we need more and with more influence, especially in our sizeable Dallas Ft Worth area.

Our Mission

The Artist Outreach (TAO) is a Dallas-based regional nonprofit organization that works to change the educational, emotional and financial futures of those we serve through creative arts with the programs we provide to schools and advocacy centers. TAO's vision: To use the creative arts to empower, innovate and educate. Through inventive practice, TAO builds connection between the arts and everyday life, giving youth a more dynamic education through our teaching system while inspiring educators to think more creatively and encourage self-discovery through the use of our practitioners.
