What did Safe Families need?

Ikenna helped Safe Families with critical marketing strategy needs over the course of 4 weeks, in areas like finding the right marketing channels, brand messaging or audience targeting.

Why is this project important?

We are ready to reach more families in NYC, but are having a hard time getting the word out to families about the work that we do (even pre-pandemic). We want to make sure that we are doing outreach to families in a way that considers their needs and what is important to them and using the marketing strategies that they most use. Right now we currently put flyers in organizations that serve families and have an online website. So we are pretty limited in our outreach.

This project will save us $2,397, allowing us to serve more vulnerable families without increasing overhead.

I have a master's degree in marketing analytics as well as first hand experience working with global business development strategy. In addition, i have a keen interest in the world of art and non-profit particularly media and entertainment and how those affect business ventures in modern society.
