Because recruiting is decentralized it has not received a lot of ownership and attention but it desperately needs it. Offering expertise through recruiting framework would help managers hire better based on pre-established, consistent questions (while still allowing job specific questions to be added). Our managers really want clear guidance on what questions to ask and techniques on how to evaluate and rate candidate responses to give them great hiring confidence.
This project will save us $5,776, allowing us to invest in the resources to train our managers on interviewing techniques and selection! We absolutely need to invest in this area next once we create the foundational framework for the organization.
